We are José Smith and Olatz Fernández, ocean and nature enthusiasts. After years of global diving adventures, we discovered Panama’s hidden gem: Coiba, Panama.
This natural treasure captivated us completely. José brings over 20 years of professional diving experience. He has worked in Mexico, Panama, and the prestigious Bahamas Aggressor.
Olatz is a Divemaster and passionate recreational diver. She has explored diverse sites across the Americas and Europe. She always maintains a respectful curiosity for marine life.
Discovering Coiba felt extraordinary. It's a wild, pristine, and vibrant ecosystem. It rivals iconic destinations like Galápagos or Cocos Island.
Yet, it remains largely undiscovered. Why? It was a prison until 2005, which limited access. This seclusion preserved its land and marine environments. Today, Coiba is a virgin paradise. It's part of the Eastern Tropical Pacific Marine Corridor. Our mission is to share it sustainably and authentically with you.
